Reclaiming The Yin in June

In the June session of Reclaiming The Yin Kitty led the group in a discussion about the dynamics of the predominant ‘Fire’ energy of Summer, the health challenges it presents, and how ‘Water’ energy is Nature’s balancing mechanism for moderating Summer heat.

The Heart is the organ most active during Summer.

This means that because the Heart is the organ most active during Summer it’s also where you’ll experience heart-related symptoms if your Heart energy is not in balance and able to handle the heat; and your Kidneys will suffer if they’re not strong enough to provide the cooling the whole body needs.
Next month Kitty will talk about which foods support the Heart and Kidneys as they hit full-summer-throttle.
