Balance and Imbalance
We all know when something is “out of balance” — we say, “This doesn’t feel right”; or “I’m ‘off’ today.”
Being out-of-balance is ‘normal’ today, yet we still know when something is out-of-whack; but not knowing exactly what to do about it, we just take it in stride and keep going. Eventually all of these insignificant imbalances add up and begin to take their toll - we can’t just keep going. When we get sick, or become somehow incapacitated, then we have to deal actively with the imbalance. But as humans, we’re capable of living with an amazing amount of imbalance, which we adapt to, and just live with.
