Take the opportunity to confidentially explore and discuss a variety of
possibilities, and identify which ones lead toward the solution you're looking
for—while mapping out practical ways for getting there.
There are a variety of ways for you to benefit from Coaching at BIOM. Use the

Coaching Experiences At BIOM
Choose one of the following ways to get where you need to be:
BalancePoint
Coaching provides you with a felt-sense experience of
balance in your body and mind. This experience is cultivated and developed throughout the
coaching process to help you accomplish those things that are important to you.
Becoming familiar with and connecting to your "balance point" helps
you clarify your purpose, and then envision a strategy and action plan for achieving
it.
Standard. The standard BalancePoint Coaching session takes place for 60 minutes.
This coaching conversation can either take place
in-person at BIOM, or by telephone from the location of your choice.
Premium
. The premium BalancePoint Coaching session takes place for 60 minutes,
either in-person at BIOM, or by telephone from the location of your choice,
and includes the additional value of coaching feedback
by email.
Tai Chi
Coaching is an effective way to learn how to apply the principles and movements of Tai Chi
Chuan and Aikido to the daily situations in your life—at work, at school, at home, and on
your way. This unique approach to coaching cultivates the perspective of the
meditative martial artist and shows you how to use it as you work to achieve your goals.
(Note: Because of the "hands-on" nature of this experience, Tai
Chi Coaching is done in-person at BIOM.)
Standard. The standard Tai Chi Coaching session takes place for 90 minutes. This
coaching session combines private Tai Chi Chuan
instruction and a coaching conversation.
Premium. The premium Tai Chi Coaching session takes place for 90 minutes. This
coaching session combines private Tai Chi Chuan
instruction, a coaching conversation, and includes the additional value of coaching
feedback by email.
Coaching
For
Young People This combination of
coaching and mentoring draws on the power of the meditative martial arts
to
teach young people effective ways to center and balance when challenged, and how
to “go with the flow” until the right moment to act presents itself.
(Note: Coaching For Young People is a special
version of Tai Chi
Coaching—with
an emphasis on topics
vital to the success of young people.

Coaching Components
The descriptions below explain the various components that comprise Coaching
at BIOM.
Logistics
A coaching period consists of four coaching sessions. At the outset of your
coaching adventure it's a good idea to schedule these four sessions
consecutively, each week, to identify and clarify your initial set of goals, and
to build up your momentum. As we move forward, each month, we will discuss your
progress and adjust our meeting schedule to meet your coaching needs. You're asked to commit to four
coaching sessions at a time by paying for them at the beginning of each four week coaching
period.
Coaching
Conversation
Each coaching session includes a "coaching
conversation" that can be done in-person, or by telephone. The
coaching conversation gives you an opportunity to "think out loud," and
explore your options for making what's important to you a reality in your life.
Coaching Feedback Email
A coaching session creates its own momentum, leading to additional insights after the session is completed.
Coaching feedback email captures and expands upon these insights with additional
suggestions for you to consider. This feedback is sent to you a day or two after
your coaching
session, and serves as a useful mid-week reminder to help you focus on the
important issues you're working on.
Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan
is a vibrant meditative martial art and health practice that shows you
how to think and act strategically, calm yourself when you're feeling overly
stressed, and rejuvenates the mind and body so that you're healthy and fit to
meet the challenges that meet you.
