    Chi Kung for Health

Chi Kung is an ancient system of exercises, and a very economical way to stay healthy. These powerful exercises have been used for thousands of years and are very effective for treating a wide range of health problems. Chi Kung makes your body strong so it can ward off illness— and it feels good.

Practicing Chi Kung promotes higher levels of energy and stamina, and when combined with proper diet and nutrition, slows down the aging process.

    Learning Chi Kung at BIOM
At BIOM, our focus is on using Chi Kung to develop and maintain the health and strength needed to meet the challenges that meet us everyday. We teach, practice, and enjoy two types of Chi Kung at BIOM: Chi Kung for Health and Iron Shirt Chi Kung, which are offered to you in classes or private sessions.

Regardless of which approach you take you will gradually find yourself enjoying higher levels of energy, stamina, and strength, as you improve your overall sense of health and well-being.

Some Chi Kung each day, keeps the doctor away.

So take a few deep breaths and head over to Beginning Chi Kung in the BIOM photogallery to get a sense of what it’s like to begin doing Chi Kung at BIOM.

    5 Element Weight Loss

You can go on a diet, eat less food, and exercise more, and you won’t necessarily lose weight if your digestive system is not working properly. In fact, you may find yourself becoming more unhealthy because you’re getting less nourishment. As a result, a “healthy” weight loss program needs to take into account your unique physicality.

5 Element Weight loss at BIOM is a unique and healthy opportunity to develop a weight loss program based on your special situation—designed and aimed at the outcome you’re looking for—a healthy body and self image.

    The Focus
BIOM’s 5 Element approach to loosing weight focuses first on addressing any imbalances you may have in your internal organs. Often, the simple process of balancing the energy (Chi) of the internal organs improves digestion, which enables better metabolism and peristalsis so food doesn’t get trapped in your body.

The Five Element Weight Loss Method
    The Five Element method includes:

    • Principles of a healthy diet.
    • Chi Kung exercises.
    • Acupressure/acupuncture, and Chinese medical herbs (optional).
